Amwal was founded on the principle of the betterment of Qatar and its people. It remains dedicated to the ongoing development of a variety of initiatives designed to nurture Qatari talent and create a healthy environment that allows local businesses to flourish and expand.

One such an initiative is INJAZ QATAR, a non-profit organization that equips youths with the entrepreneurship and leadership skills they need to succeed in a global economy.

Established in 2007 and guided by Chairperson Sheikha Hanadi Nasser bin Khaled Al Thani from its inception, INJAZ Qatar’s activities include a variety of programs for high-school and university students that focus on teaching work readiness, entrepreneurship, and financial literacy skills. In addition to providing annual funding, Amwal also encourages its staff to commit significant amounts of time annually to facilitate student programs.

For many years, Amwal has partnered with the Qatar Businessmen Association and the Qatar Financial Centre to sponsor a series of events for finance professionals, designed to facilitate networking and knowledge sharing.

In addition, Amwal is also a Founding Member and Co-sponsor of the Qatar chapter of the Middle East Investor Relations Society, an independent non-profit organisation dedicated to promoting excellence for investor relations standards across the region.
