Sheikha Hanadi Ranked Amongst the 100 Most Powerful Arabs for 2015

Sheikha Hanadi Bint Nasser Bin Khalid Al Thani, Founder and Chairperson of Amwal Asset Management has been named as one of the 100 most powerful Arabs in the world for 2015 by Gulf Business, a leading business magazine focusing on the region. Sheikha Hanadi is one of the 15 Qatari’s featured in this year’s rankings along with prominent nationals who lead Qatar’s sports, culture, finance and education initiatives including Hassan Al Thawadi, secretary general of Qatar’s 2022 World Cup organizing committee, Akbar Al Baker, GCEO of Qatar Airways and Sheikha Al Mayassa Al Thani, chairperson of Qatar Museums. The Gulf Business Arab Power 100 is intended to be an inspirational representation of some of the Arab world’s greatest achievers and future shapers. To compile the list, Gulf Business ranked business people of Arab descent from all over the world judged across four main spheres of influence including financial capital, human capital, expansion plans and personal fame levels. As a policy, politicians and royalty were excluded unless they had an unassailably strong leaning towards corporate activity.
